we arrived late at 9pm on a train and ieft before 6am next day. access was convenient. hotel entry was via a street door key code and then the room keys from a combination key safe in the stairwell outside the hotel corridor. no need to go to a desk. flexible with paying the tourist tax as our late arrival precluded meeting. left cash in room. location excellent

Stayed for three nights. Bathroom was clean, shower was nice with no lack of hot water. Bed was comfortable and clean. Host is at the facilities in the morning. He was polite and friendly. Location is superb. Right outside is Medicee Chapel and Santa Maria del Fiore is within a five-minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants nearby also.
