Villa was beautiful and in a lovely secluded area beneath the mountains so was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were amazing and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable, including dropping off home cooked meals for us more than once!

We are a family of five who recently enjoyed a wonderful stay in this house an hour from Chania, offering a perfect blend of seclusion and stunning scenery. The location, nestled away from the bustle of city life, provided us with a private retreat where we could truly unwind. Surrounded by breathtaking views, the house itself was impeccably clean and maintained to a high standard, with all the facilities we could need. The sea and beaches are 20 minutes away by car. Our host was exceptional, ensuring every detail was taken care of and making us feel warmly welcomed. The private pool was a highlight, offering a refreshing escape during warm days, especially for the kids. Each morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the terrace, soaking in the serene atmosphere. This house is ideal for those seeking tranquility without compromising on comfort. Whether lounging by the pool or exploring the picturesque surroundings, we felt completely at ease. We highly recommend this property for a memorable and relaxing getaway.

Family of 5, kids 10, 13 and 16. We all really enjoyed out stay at this beautifully restored villa. The villa is secluded with a lovely pool with gorgeous mountain views. It was very clean and had all that was needed. A real oasis of tranquillity to disconnect and recharge. Villa was cleaned half way through the week. Excellent host, super helpful. The host very kindly left us some food, as our flight was very late at night and also dropped a few things mid week when the cleaner came.

This is definitely one of the best houses we have ever rented on vacation. It is a very nicely restored villa with great outdoor spaces and a beautiful pool. The property is in a very nice location with impressive views of the mountains. It is a very beautiful old house that has been restored and modernized with great attention to detail and very high quality. Already the way to the property is very noble and the flower beds around are lovingly designed. You are completely on your own, but still everything is easily accessible. The kitchen is very well and richly equipped, nothing is missing. The large terrace with a nicely designed pool, is covered with very beautiful natural stone. There are places to sunbathe and a sitting area with tables and benches made of natural stone. In addition, there is a large stone outdoor grill with space for preparation including sink. The villa is located a bit outside of Embrosneros, which is however easily accessible on foot (5-10 minutes). In the village there is a minimarket, a bakery and a good taverna with original Cretan dishes. Within about 30 minutes you can walk to a good winery and the newly designated Apokoronas hiking trail passes nearby. The owners were very accommodating and hospitable. They did everything to make the stay perfect.
