Lovely clean cottage in a very quiet location with everything you need. Beds were very comfortable. Was an ideal base for visiting local attractions along the coast.

Cottage was located in a nice quiet village and an ideal hub for visiting places of interest. Would recommend Artisan Bakery and Northumberland pub in the village - great food and very hospitable. Our host Katherine was really friendly and very helpful in assisting us and locating some clothes we had accidentally left behind. In all we really enjoyed our stay at Carinya Cottage and the friendly people we met during our stay.

Beautifully furnished and decorated. Very well equipped. All the rooms are spacious, which is not always the case. The hosts were lovely and we really appreciated the Christmas tree and fairy lights.

The location was perfect for us and we liked the off street parking space. The cottage was clean and fresh, very well equipped and beautifully decorated. We were impressed that there was a dishwasher and a washer/drier, although we didn’t have any need to use either of them as we were only there for a long weekend, and apart from breakfast we didn’t eat at the property! Advance communications with our host couldn’t be faulted, and the local information would have been very useful had we been staying as tourists rather than visiting friends. The cottage is spacious and well thought out and the shower was very good.
