I had walked by the hotel on arrival in Faro to get my bearings and it looked really nice. Unfortunately before I could check in I became unwell and was taken to Faro hospital. On being discharged from hospital friends met me and took me to their home. I had contacted Felipe at Albergaria Formosa to explain my situation and, although I never had the pleasure of staying at the hotel, he kept in constant touch offering any assistance I may need. I feel this was going above & beyond normal expectation and deserves mentioning so that he may be given recognition and because if he is an example of the standard at Albergaria Formosa I feel sure my stay would have been excellent.

I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, which made me feel comfortable and relaxed right away. The location is close to everything, including shops, restaurants. The overall atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay!
