I booked the barn last minute as I wanted to visit an aunt who had suddenly become very poorly. The property is beautifully well laid out and adjoins the owner's house which sits in a very secluded part of the countrysisde. Wildlife abounds all around - on our approach we saw pheasant, quail and a rather nervous looking dark tabby cat! If it's escape from the everyday and birdsong you're looking for, you will certainly find that here. While the barn is set within a very peaceful location, be aware that if you like walking, there are signs along the lane leading to the property stating that the public is not permitted access to the surrounding conservation area - a great pity. The owners were friendly and helpful and the fresh milk and a bottle of bubbly left in the fridge were a nice surprise.

A superb property with great facilities in a beautiful secluded location. The host and owner were very helpful and kind in responding to a few requests we made. We had a great stay and hope to come back again at some point in the future.
