What a wonderful family holiday we had staying at Ilkley house, we all absolutely loved our stay, including our dear dog. Our every need was catered to, and we were very comfortable. The room layout was great, the beds were comfortable including electric blankets, the bedrooms all had heating and the fireplace in common areas was great too. There were lots of board games, and the kids loved the trampoline and enclosed garden. Such a beautiful setting. The host was very informative and helpful. We'd love to stay again one day.

Our stay at Ilkley House in Mudgee was nothing short of spectacular. The house itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful, tasteful decor and an incredibly spacious layout that made our group feel right at home. Every room was impeccably designed, blending comfort with elegance, and the expansive living areas gave us plenty of space to relax and unwind. The property’s privacy was a standout feature—surrounded by serene landscapes, it felt like our own secluded oasis. Mornings and evenings were truly magical, as we sipped coffee or wine while watching kangaroos and wallabies gracefully hop across the fields. It was a unique and unforgettable experience that brought us so close to nature. The owner was an absolute gem, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their accommodating nature and helpfulness made every aspect of our trip seamless, from booking to check-out. Ilkley House is a must-visit for anyone seeking a luxurious, peaceful retreat in Mudgee!

Loved the location and views. Comfortable beds, all the essentials supplied. Driveway should be advertised as not suitable for small cars or low cars as it’s extremely steep. Also main bathroom is a little dangerous for small children and elderly as the shower is a deep step down with no safely rail or step.

Very welcoming and homey! Had all the comforts you could ask for including ample fire wood, lovely toiletries, fluffy towels and lots of throw rugs!
