The villas location was on a quiet road and everywhere we went was within 1.5 hours drive away. A decent car is ESSENTIAL (not a panda!), the villa is situated on a steep hill. The pool and surrounding area was amazing, very private and relaxing. We used the patio dining table most days for breakfast as the view over Calheta was beautiful. The beds were very comfy, just want you need after a long day of exploring the island. We also loved the corridor that the bedrooms come out onto, they had windows all along the corridor so I opened the windows and hung my clothes to dry, perfect! You will read some bad points on the next section, however I would just like to add that overall this property is fantastic and I would definitely stay again. The people who manage the property kept in touch and was there when we needed them. We actually saw that there had been improvements before our stay after feedback from previous people. ****
