Everything was excellent 👌. Garry welcomed us nicely with traditional Madeira cake and a bottle of Madeira wine. Apartment is located at the best position for exploring the island and for some leisure time after on Calheta beach. If you like sun and warm weather all year around this location is the best on the island. Jose gave us tour of their garden and we tried their homegrown fruits directly from the trees with him, they have so much fruit that we were picking them daily for snacks after hiking trips 😀. Would definitely recommend and book again if we decide to go back to Madeira.

It is a nice location for Madeira (where it is highly recommended to rent a car anyway), super markets and nice restaurants are walking distance if you still want to go by foot, the Calheta public beach is near and it is not as crowded on that part of the island (we were always super happy when we were returning back to the property and had a clear road ahead, people returning to Funchal/to the east of the island seemed to be stuck in traffic all the time) so I loved the location. The apartment is super spacious, you have a beautiful kitchen (supplied well) if you like to cook, the bed is super comfortable, you also have air conditioning in the bedroom (the bedroom and kitchen don’t have their own windows so without it it would be hard to air out the apartment - but don’t worry because if you open the main door, enough fresh air gets in, especially when it is a bit windy), a washing machine is available, the bathroom is spacious and nice, you have a nice living room area with TV, a sitting area outside… very nice price-performance ratio! The owner and Garry are great, home grown bananas and mangos waited for us when we got there. They are also super responsive and helpful.

The location is great, the area is sunny, quiet, well maintened. The owner is very kind. The apparment is large, the kitchen provides everything you need in order to cook. We had a really nice stay and are leaving with positive memories connected to this place.
