Alas “Great hotel for a stay in Essen”

Virtually all the staff were fabulous, really helpful and charming, a real credit to their profession. We had food and drink on three occasions. . However, the evening meals are much better value than the breakfast (see below) and I can personally recommend the smoked salmon, rostis and salad. All in all, I would stay there again

The room was a very good size and well set out as a disabled friendly room. Coffee facilities, which is not always in German hotels. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was great, very well presented and good facilities. The hotel was modern and elegant. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. They allowed me to have a parcel delivered there ready for me to pick up upon arrival, they allowed us to leave our bags after check out so we didn't have to carry them around the city all day until our flight home. We would definitely stay here again.
