This is a great hotel which doesn’t look as though it has been modernised for 40 years - but it is GREAT. Old fashioned light switches; seats; pictures. Great pool. 5 min walk to beach.

The breakfast is exceptional, with range for any taste. The rooms are clean and confortable, just lacking the air conditioning. However, it was still not too hot during the day and really confortable during the night. Plenty of parking area, even though the location is perfect being close to the river and the beach.

The hotel is a fantastic place to be, a beautiful piece of architecture, no matter where you are. The lines, the light, and the different spaces are stunning and interesting at any time of day. Staff are kind, helpful, and easy to talk to. Two great receptionists, and I'm sure many other people in the background work hard to keep the place in shape and your stay memorable.
