Julia “Quiet and peaceful stay in Espinho”

We loved everything about this place. The family running it are very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautifully furnished, clean and quiet. There is a big, professionally equipped kitchen which used to be a restaurant pre-Covid and which now can be used by guests to make their own breakfast/meals. We used it in the morning and it was very convenient. The pool is great too, clean and big, perfect for hot days. The location is a bit far from the beach but we enjoy a nice walk so didn’t mind walking it. It’s also possible to take Ubers or Bolt taxis which are very cheap. We had an amazing stay and feel well rested. Thank you!

An excellent small hotel/ guesthouse choice. Beautiful pool and garden areas and very comfortable rooms. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts who could not have been kinder.

I stayed here with a group of friends while we were going to the Primavera festival in Porto. A taxi into Porto was about €50 and took around 30 mins, depending on the time of day. Armando met us when we arrived , even though we were half an hour delayed, and stayed up to chat with us for a short while over beer and wine! It was a beautiful location to relax in while we recovered from the festival! We really enjoyed hanging out beside the pool, listening to music on the great sound system that's installed in the garden. The AC was a lifesaver during the hotter parts of the day. There was also a good selection of restaurants to order from on Uber Eats. Espinho is a €6 taxi ride away, and a lovely spot to hang out beside the beach. You can also get the train from Espinho into Porto for €1.80. If you're looking for a relaxing and chill time, i would absolutely recommend staying here!
