Beautiful views. Wayched fireflies and bats flying from balcony..Delightful family run business..delicious breakfast and dinner.. walked on railway track to waterfall..gorgeous views. Chandu picked us up every time from the main road and back when ever needed as the road down was bumpy and narrow.. nothing was too much trouble.. even a packed breakfast when we had to leave early one morning.. our favorite place to stay in sri lanka .

WOW WOW WOW. I wasted a lot of time researching various options for this area, so look no further! This place was exceptional value and far exceeded our expectations, so we would recommend it to everyone visiting the area, we just wish we could have stayed longer here. The photos just don't do it justice... the room felt really lovely and a chilled haven right in the middle of the jungle with a pet gecko and bewitching firefly in our room when we turned out the lights. While the room was simple and bathroom basic, it was spotless and the beds were sumptuous, decadent and super cosy, with reassuring nets. The balcony was spacious with lounger chairs overlooking that breathtaking view and monkeys playing in the trees and venturing over to try to share our breakfast! It's worth noting that the little restaurant is half open-air so you can enjoy the view or pull the blinds down to keep the wildlife out! Siri and her lovely kind family were so friendly, welcoming and helpful, they really couldn't do enough for us. They even made a special trip out to find us some dinner when we arrived at sunset after food orders had been completed, while we enjoyed a beer from their honesty bar on our balcony. They were brilliant at recommending what to do and where to go, and also sorting transport and logistics when needed. We really felt like they wanted us to have the best time and appreciated their local knowledge and kindness. They consistently went over and above... Dilusha sent us some photos from our waterfall visit and Siri even showed us how to cook her yummy breakfast hoppers. We felt so sad to say goodbye, but will never forget them!
