Our stay at Ashburnham Estate was absolutely divine. We were the only guests during our time there and felt so well cared for by the entire team. Kalinga, the manager, and Vish, as well as the rest of the staff (including the wonderful chef) made us feel right at home. They fulfilled all our wishes with kindness and ease, and the chef even prepared fresh, delicious vegetarian meals tailored to our preferences. The estate itself is a hidden gem in nature – quiet, remote, and surrounded by birdsong and wildlife. There’s even a private waterfall on the estate where we swam in complete peace. The dogs living there were a joy (don't worry, the staff kindly asked if we were comfortable with them of course), we saw macaques jumping through the trees and a broad variety of bird species (next to other awesome wildlife) – a fantastic spot for bird lovers and nature seekers. The place felt so special, homely, and relaxing that we ended up extending our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and immerse themselves in the serenity of nature. We’d really love to come back one day :)!

Extremely helpful and friendly staff, set in a beautiful location that is extremely peaceful! It felt a bit like going back in time. The food was continually excellent and you can sit on the balcony, eat great food, with a g&t and watch the sun set and wildlife run around. There is also a lot of options for either relaxing (hanging out by the pool) or being active (tea tours, walks waterfalls etc). It had a bit of everything which made it a good place to be for a few days. We could have definitely staid longer.
