At first sight the style of the hotel is rather bleak. However, it is very comfortable and is located to enjoy the views of Eidfjord. It is also only a few minutes walk into the town. Our room was a good size and the bathroom was warm and functional. We had a great view of the fiord. Breakfast was typically Norwegian and enjoyable. We also ate in the hotel at night. The menu was a little restricted but the quality of the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was free parking at the hotel.

A basic but very clean hotel that offers complimentary tea, coffee and juice. There are no tvs in the room but you have the beautiful surroundings to take in and they do offer a to room upstairs.
