Was clean and tidy. It was a nice touch to give away free ear plugs because they were needed because of loud pub opposite that played music until 1am.

Very nice small hostel with little but nice common area and great kitchen(even oatly was available). The staff was friendly.

The location is in the heart of Royal Miles. The entrance is a bit mysterious, but I think that's a charm to Edinburgh.
