The Hotels architecture is stunning. Beautiful materials used in the rooms and facades and very clever layout.

I will start with our arrival when we arrived 4h before checkin and the room was already ready. We had a rental car, which you can hardly do without in Albania. They have a smaller car park right in front of the hotel, otherwise there is a bigger hotel car park across the street where a gentleman looks after it. I appreciate that the hotel is open 24/7. The hotel was beautiful as in the photos, everything like new, air conditioning everywhere. We are a young couple and it was great to have young support staff working everywhere. We had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the pool. There was a large outdoor pool, but the best part was the rooftop pool on the 10th floor! What I have to praise is their playlist of songs that they played by the pool :) They could add their playlist to spotify :D Plus I appreciate the possibility to borrow a towel for the pool at the reception. As for the food, we only booked breakfast, which was good - more choice of salty and sweet food, fruits, vegetables, desserts, coffee... We also paid for dinner one day, I also recommend it, but we traveled a lot in Albania and we ate at different restaurants. The beach was close, about 100-200 m from the hotel. There are a lot of restaurants around the hotel, I recommend going there. Somewhere they took cards, somewhere we had to pay in euros. We thought you had better restaurants and bars if you went towards the beach and took it to the left. If you need a small grocery store, it is on the left side of the beach, about 5 minutes from the hotel. They have quite a few interesting restaurants and bars. There is a great pizzeria in front of the hotel, which is cheap and tasty. I also recommend visiting the 788 cocktail bar, which is about 10 minutes from the beach to the left, there are bean bags and a fire and a good atmosphere. During the day, there are very few people everywhere, but at at night everyone goes to the streets for the night life :).

The Durres Bay Hotel provided a comfortable stay with great views of the bay. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend it for a relaxing seaside getaway.

My recent stay at Durres Bay Hotel was truly delightful. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, offering stunning views of Durres Bay and direct access to the beach, which made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep each night.
