Client service: This is a family owned studio with numerous personal touches; Ivanka was a great hostess, she met us in person to check us in, and was easy to contact throughout our stay. She was full of local knowledge and useful tips for our stay. Her mum prepared mirta wine and other tasty treats to welcome us. My request for a late check out was accepted online even before we got to the apartment. Access: The apartment itself is well located in Dubrovnik Old Town, below the Jesuit stairs used in Game of Thrones. It is close to all main attractions, museums, churches, city walls, restaurants and bars within the pedestrianised Old Town. It is also an easy walk to the taxi/uber/bolt, bus, and tour excursion pick up points. Access via both the Pile Gate and Ploce Gate has a minimal number of steps, quite rare in Dubrovnik; very helpful with a heavy suitcase. Avoid the Buza Gate which would involve climbing up/down a treacherous staircase. Facilities: The facilities were excellent; a working and powerful air conditioner, necessary for the high summer temperstures; clean sheets, clean bathroom with multiple towels, shower gel/shampoo, hot water; bedroom with tv, hair dryer, iron and table top ironing board, excellent easy to access WiFi, and the kitchenette had a dining area, glasses, dishes, pots/pans, cutlery, utensils, cleaning materials under the kitchen sink, a small stove. Overall impression: This apartment exceeded my expectations and was considerably better than highly rated 4star hotel accomodation I previously used in Dubrovnik - and at a fraction of the cost. It definitely deserves all the other great reviews. Book early, this apartment is almost always sold out!

Landlady goes far and beyond to help with transport arrangement and was sweet prepared tray of fruit and some snacks upon our arrival.

Great position in the heart of the old city, friendly hosts made us feel very welcome, good wifi, nice apartment with fridge (with a welcome bottle of wine), kitchen, cooking facilities (although we didn't use them)
