Stunning views, excellent promenade with beautiful restaurants directly outside the hotel. Quiet resort that felt safe and calm. Direct bus outside the hotel to get to the old town. Bus 6 runs every 10mins and takes less than 15mins. Great location for a mix of relaxation and easy access to the busy old town too. Excellent breakfast with a beautiful view of the sea.

We’ve stayed at Royal Hotels & Resort Dubrovnik before, and every time it’s been a great experience. This time we had booked Royal Ariston, but upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised — our entire group was upgraded to the more luxurious Royal Palm, with free room category upgrades as well. The service was outstanding. Spacious, modern rooms with incredibly comfortable beds and high-quality linens — everything is designed for true comfort. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with plenty of fresh options. The beach is definitely not for everyone — access is via ladders from the rocky shore, and it’s deep right away — but personally, I love it. The water is crystal clear and absolutely stunning, a true Adriatic gem. Unfortunately, we could only stay for one night this time — and that’s our only regret. We’re already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay.

We stayed here during the trip where I proposed to my partner, so I chose this place as somewhere really special for the occasion. It's pretty much our first - and to date, only - experience of such a 'fancy' hotel, and it was really impressive. We were given a top floor room with incredible views out across the sea, and it was perfect. The staff were all very kind and helpful - both before we arrived and during our stay. Being able to access the facilities of all the neighbouring hotels in the Royal resort was a lovely bonus - we made a point of trying every pool in particular. Definitely more than I'd usually pay for accommodation, but for a special occasion it was more than worth it.
