This hotel has a stunning view and access to beach that I enjoyed on several occasions in the past, so I was really looking forward to my solo beach retreat. Hence my immense disappointment to discover only on arrival that there are no beach facilities available due to beach closure. The receptionist was lovely and after my request for cancellation was declined, she offered to arrange a stay with an upgrade in a different hotel in their chain.

Our room faced Bellevue Beach and had a lovely view. It was a good sized room. The bed was comfortable. The staff are always polite and friendly and greet you. The breakfast was excellent. A shuttle bus was provided to their sister properties to swim, and we really enjoyed that.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was amazing and the view from the terrace was exceptional. They upgraded our room and sent a birthday cake to our suite as they noticed it was my husband’s birthday whilst checking our passports at check in.
