It is very close and convenient to the Ruins of Carthage, comfortable, and the hosts insisted we put our car inside the yard to keep it safe. Food places and markets nearby.

+ Excellent location for exploring Carthage on foot, all the big sites are close. Good value. Flexible check-in/check-out. Organised transfer from the airport (extra cost). Easy communication before arrival. - Needs to be paid in cash, which was not clearly communicated in advanced. Did not provide a correct address/location, which complicated our planning. Everything in the kitchen had a grimy surface. Floors were not clean. No grocery shop/few restaurants in the area. You can hear everything from the street, early wake-up.

This is a lovely, very spacious apartment with three generous-sized bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen with space to eat, a large clean shower room/toilet and secure off-street parking. The host was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the apartment is located a short walk from many of Carthage's spectacular archaeological sites, and about 10 minutes walk to the local railway station where you can get trains to beautiful Sidi Bou Said and the beach at La Marsa (although the train line into Tunis was broken, so get a Bolt!). The apartment was close to many places to get food. We'd recommend "Tasty" for their delicious homemade Makloub and the Ojja at the nearby "Marinara"! Overall this place was great value and a good base for our visit to Carthage.
