Awesome place. Name is very correct: nice, clean rooms in a quiet (but easily reachable) place. Owner went above and beyond to help us.

Very friendly owner and comfortable room. A little issue with one of the dogs, but the owner tied to him up after that. Appreciated the coffee and ride to the station. Not much for tourists in this part of Dickwella, unfortunately, but walking/tuktuk to other areas is easy enough.

We had a great time at Secret House, and I can’t speak highly enough of the place and the host. The location is central but quiet. It has a front garden with monkeys visiting and two dogs keeping an eye. Both are well trained and friendly. The room is super clean, bathroom in perfect condition, really comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast is also available, and it’s not to be missed! Amila prepared it exactly our favorite way. He was kind enough to offer the kitchen for use, so we could make ourselves some tea or cut fruits. The kitchen is spotless, just like every corner of the place. The property is just a few minutes away from the beach, especially if you take the shortcut from the main road. On the main road, there’s a supermarket, a few pharmacies and a fruit stall in a distance.

Secret House in Dickwella was a highlight. The house is fantastic. Super clean and so well looked after. The air conditioned room was spacious and the bathroom was modern and fully functional with a great hot water shower. Amila, the owner was just amazing. So committed to his guests and his mother and father were a delight. Breakfasts were fantastic as were the dinners. Dickwella is a working town so great to explore but the beach area is amazing and just a short walk from the guesthouse. Amila will help with anything and is a superb host. Really pleased we stayed here. Thank you so much. We will not forget.
