The Ycona resort is really beautiful and really screams luxury upon arrival with everything made available and welcoming staff! You’re immediately put into a whats app group to make communication easier which I really liked and all staff were always keen to make the stay as fantastic as possible. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL, lush greenery, gorgeous pool and a private beach looking out into the Indian Ocean. The villa itself was gorgeous, big bed, modern feel, open and airy and private enough without feeling too isolated. There are golf buggies but the resort is easy to walk around and you can also walk on the beach at low tide. The food was good - but see below for further comment - and again what really stands out are the staff and their welcome. We’d like to specifically shout out Martina, Susan, Grace, Emil, Abel, Christopher and Samual who could not have been more friendly and warm, but all staff did a fantastic job including all the grounds people, reception, beach security, pool staff and housekeeping! It is a luxury hotel and it feels like it at every turn and I commend the team for all their hard work!

The staff are so friendly. We loved the special landscaping detail and the layering.. the design elements and care in the landscaping and architecture were fantastic. The food is sensational!
