Wait House is a beautiful, grand property with a nice design aesthetic. The beds were very comfortable with nice linen. It is an easy 20min walk to the beach or a short tuk tuk ride.

We stayed in the Suite facing the garden and really enjoyed our time there. The room was spacious, modern, and minimalistic—perfect for us as a couple. The bed was comfortable, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The location is great, just a short walk (around 15 minutes) or a quick scooter/TukTuk ride (about 3 minutes) from cafes and shops. As a thoughtful touch, they offer one free TukTuk ride, which we used on our first day in Hiriketiya. The internet connection was stable and reliable throughout our stay. We also appreciated the community kitchen, which provides drinking water 24/7, along with a kettle and tea. Laundry service is available in-house, with a turnaround time of 24–48 hours, depending on the weather. The owner and staff were kind and welcoming.
