In particular the staff made La Cabane extremely welcoming and comfortable for us - thank you! Our room was very comfortable and large, overlooking the beach full of locals doing sports, heading out to surf or fish, or swimming. The hotel guests seemed to mostly be surfers, and we felt this place was a welcome mini-oasis away from the hustle of Dakar. We would strongly recommend La Cabane for anyone looking to enjoy a local and relaxed atmosphere with less frills and more sand between the toes.

The staff and the location (literally on the beach). Khalil was adorable, welcoming and funny from the moment we met. Later, I also met the owners who were very helpful to me. I had an urchin incident, my foot was painful and infected and they were so helpful.

This is a little oasis with beachfront and high-quality seafood restaurant inside Dakar, Ngor is a stone-throw away, and you can take a cap for 10‘ to reach the Beach Clubs and Surfer Scene of Almadies. The service was excellent, here special rewards to Khalil.
