The fine print
Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.The airport shuttle has a fee of $12.50 USD in total valid from 1 to maximum 4 people, only from the airport to the Hostel, no extra shuttles are provided.

Rony, the owner, and his staff were very helpful. They arranged the Salkantay Trek, Rainbow mountain, Inti Punku and the Sacred Valley tour during our stay at Ukukus. Prices were really fine, just as the (basic) accomodation. Perfect hostel to explore Cusco and around.

My experience was amazing, I love it the place really cool and chill out, perfect to make your stuffs. The staff are really kind and respectful 🙂 and they help and support me all the time in my crazy adventure. I really highly recommend the hostel.

On request they gave us a portable heater to use in the room which very effective. We enjoyed the free hot water and tea selection. The wifi was amazing, we got over 100mbps down and up in our room! The staff were all very friendly. We had some trouble organising a refund in Spanish on a website and the receptionist helped us for an hour to solve it and was extremely patient and kind.
