This was our second visit as guests to this wonderful couple at their second rented accommodation. Last year we loved it and this year it exceeded our expectation even more. A spacious annex so practical and comfy layout. I could easily choose to live in this property for good. Beautiful outside, garden, fish pond, hot tub. Private. Lovely host. Comfy bed and mattress and great shower. This was a walking holiday for us. Best location right at the foot of several amazing areas of national beauty in Shropshire. We walked about 40 miles amongst several castles and moor ( Mynd) and hills. Delicious food at several excellent traditional pubs and cafes. Excellent pizza and curry at Reza’s. Don’t forget to visit the Shropshire Discovery centre to learn about the geography of the region and a soup and scone. Also visit the town bakery for their lovely soup and bread. All few minutes drive from the property or 30-40 mins splendid walk. Also visit the Shropshire iron work centre near Oswestry ( 45 mins drive). Hidden gem for us. See my sample picture.

The location was central for us to explore the area. The property was beautiful, spacious rooms, the kitchen was very well equipped, everything had been thought of. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place,the hosts are very nice and friendly and I would definitely rebook.

The Annexe is a very well equipped, comfortable cottage. which is an ideal base for much that Shropshire has to offer, being within easy reach of Shrewsbury and Ludlow. Stokesay Castle (which shouldn't be missed) is minutes away. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed, including the fantastic hot tub. We had a really relaxing break and would not hesitate to return and recommend to others.
