Such a magical location- with stunning views of the sea and the rainforest ! Loved the plunge pool and the hammock. Close to the beach for walks. Facilities were good - everything we needed and beautifully furnished. Loved it !

The house itself is spectacular. Beautiful. Lots of places to sit and soak up the atmosphere of the rainforest. Beautiful balcony with outside bath. Plunge pool and mini balcony with loungers, an internal snug to hunker down. Less than 1km down to the beach at Cow Bay. Peace and Quiet. We were totally self catering and I would advise this as it's not easy driving late at night and out of season not a lot is open. We stopped at Mossman to do a big shop but there are a couple of grocery stores along the day. We did a Croc tour (with the solar panel company and saw 4 crocs - would recommend). The boardwalks are very tame walks but the Mount Solomon hike is only for proper hikers - we saw some try it in Crocs and had to turn back! Do not swim in the sea round here (drilled into you). There are some swim holes though. You need a car really to get around here. Recommend also the ice cream factory too!
