The room was clean and comfortable, although it was very warm in the room. Bathroom facilities were good. Evening meal was tasty with fresh vegetables. Walking in the grounds was very nice in the evening. Hotel is very quirky/interesting.

We stayed overnight for a function at the hotel. The hotel is a very striking building in lovely grounds. Strange to say but it felt sort of strange to find such a grand property in Coventry. Our room was, interesting. It was a warm night, no AC. A cosy double room with corner bath with shower over in the room. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant but if the hotel provided the catering at the function (260 people) it was good. We passed on breakfast @£17.50 per head as we would only have wanted fruit and muesli. Car park is not free, perhaps because the hotel is owned by the Council. Would stay again if in the area but would want to choose a better room
