I recently stayed at Hotel Maglioni in Cortina for four nights, opting for a half-board experience. Overall, the hotel provided a good quality stay, with a balance of comfort and convenience. One of the aspects I appreciated the most was definitely the staff—always available, attentive, and ready to assist with any request. Their warm hospitality made the stay much more enjoyable. The hotel is just outside the pedestrian zone of the town center, which means it’s within walking distance of everything while remaining quiet and peaceful. It’s a great location for those who want to enjoy Cortina without being in the middle of the busiest areas, but you need to book a taxi If you travel by public transport because for example the Cortina Express coach calls at the Cortina Olympic Ice Stadium. The distance between the Cortina Olympic Ice Stadium and Hotel Majoni typically takes around 15 minutes to walk. However, if you're carrying bags, especially heavy or bulky ones, the walk could become less comfortable. While my room was small, it was well-organized, making efficient use of the space. The bathroom was also well-structured, with various shelves that compensated for the limited space, making it functional and comfortable. The quality of the food was good, both at breakfast and dinner. Meals were served self-service, but the selection was decent, offering a variety of options that were both tasty and satisfying. The hotel clearly has its years, and some areas would benefit from renovation. For example, some pieces of furniture, including the chair in my room, were in poor condition. The ski room is one area that particularly needs an update—it seems untouched since the 1980s. It lacks an electronic lock from the outside, making access less secure than in modern ski hotels.

Good location for Cortina center, free parking helps, great food if you decide to go for half board, experience in house made italian food , nice wine at supermarket price, very good value for money overall!

A lovely traditional hotel with very comfortable rooms. The staff were exceptional and super attentive. Location perfect for ski slopes with ski bus right outside door and in centre of town. Super variety of food every evening for dinner and again very attentive staff. Very enjoyable.
