A perfect stay if you are looking for a cute, cozy but down-to-earth place remote in nature to completely relax. Huge ground, direct access to a river, beautiful hiking trail alongside the natural pools in walking distance. I was travelling on my own with my dog for a hiking holiday in Serra da Estrela. We both loved it and felt totally safe! We did 5 walks in the nearer area (Cortes do Meio, Unhais da Serra, Covilha, Penhas da Saude), all of them were well marked.

The perfect place to rest and shut yourself off from the busy life. In the region you have plenty of natural pools where you can swim and you can reach the national park easy from here. Also, the bbq is great! Great atmosphere
