Beautiful property, felt homely and relaxing yet carefully curated; lovely design touches, peaceful and lush gardens, located away from chaotic Colombo in an interesting neighbourhood. Hosts were extremely kind and understanding of last minute changes to our arrival time, and prepared a delicious traditional breakfast for us once we arrived. The room was very comfortable - big bed to spread out on - and had character, quick to cool down on a hot day.

We loved that it was a personal experience where we had an exchange with a Sri Lankan family. We had a beautiful room and our hosts picked up my husband at 12pm after a delayed flight. They cooked us a delicious breakfast each day and gave us excellent recommendations of cafes, shops and attractions, exactly what I was looking for. The house and garden were beautiful.
