Location is very convenient. The Italian restaurant below serves delicious food. Although the place is old the room is renovated nicely and spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It's a shame the things that are missing , so we were moved to another room, which is a bit of a pain. The new room had no mirror, no one fridge, same as first room. I would think a fridge is so important in this heat.

I had a fantastic stay at Dolce Italia Rooms and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The room had a warm, cozy feel, with a charming Italian vibe that made it feel like a little escape within Colombo. You can check the detailed review on my YouTube channel-Meena's Mini World. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth, and they went above and beyond to offer recommendations for great places to eat and visit nearby. Their kindness and genuine hospitality truly stood out and made the experience feel personal and memorable. Overall, Dolce Italia Rooms offered a perfect mix of comfort, charm, and exceptional service.

The breakfast is exceptional: Hearty and nutritious. It comes with the room. The place is built around an Italian eatery and it seems to draw from the warmth of the place. It seemed like the rooms were built around a cafe/restaurant and not the other way around. For the location and facilities, value for money. I would stay here again.
