The owner was friendly and helpful. Because we had a late train, they locked up our bags for the day so we could spend the day in town. The location was good, pretty central. The facilities were basic but it was mostly clean and comfortable.

Our host Malitha was so helpful, he stayed in communication with us whilst our flight was diverted and we ended up in Sri Lanka later than expected, he gave us so many tips and recommendations for Sri Lanka and showed us on the map good places to go for our back packing trip. He gave us great advice about transportation as well and helped with our PickMe driver when they couldn’t find the hostel. Malitha made our stay exceptional! Location was good, short walk to some restaurants and cafes, also a shopping centre in front of the hostel. The room was basic but clean and slept all night with ear plugs, also air con which is lovely! Thank you for all your help Malitha :)
