This apartment is beautifully renovated and presented, right to the last finishing touches. Spacious and clean, in a convenient location and ample free street parking, it was a pleasure for us to use it as a base for four days of exploring Colmar and the surrounding area. We needed to pace our expeditions slowly due to the hot weather, and the EM Life apartment provided a cool and comfortable refuge from the heat outside, especially with the portable air conditioning unit in operation.

I arrived at EM LIFE Colmar with some worries in my heart, after a rather unpleasant check-in experience at my previous accommodation in Strasbourg. But from the moment we arrived, all those worries melted away. Emma had already sent us clear and friendly instructions before check-in, which helped us feel welcomed even before stepping inside. On our first night, it rained and we didn’t know how to operate the radiator, so I sent Emma an email. To my surprise, she came over right away and explained everything with great kindness. Another night, after returning late from a long day trip, we found that the electronic door lock wasn’t working. I pressed the intercom button, and within moments, Emma came down personally to open the door for us. The next morning, she sent us a warm email explaining that the battery had caused the issue and that it had been fixed — her care and attention made us feel truly valued as guests. The apartment itself is spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. The living room, bedroom, bathroom, toilet, and kitchen are all separate yet connected in a very thoughtful layout, which made our stay extremely comfortable. We felt very much at home. The location is excellent — everything we needed was within easy walking distance: a large supermarket, the charming old town, and plenty of local attractions. Parking was also very convenient and flexible, which is a big plus when traveling by car. From my experience, if you plan to explore the Alsace region by car, there is no need to base yourself in Strasbourg. Staying in Colmar — and especially at EM LIFE COLMAR — allows you to enjoy the beauty of both the city and nearby villages such as Riquewihr, Eguisheim, and Kaysersberg at a relaxed pace. Among the more than 20 accommodations we stayed at during this trip, Emma’s place stood out as the very best — thanks to her warm hospitality, the excellent facilities, perfect location, and great value.

Like new and full of all the facilities you’d like to have, especially the Bathroom and the Kitchen. Nearby there is an Intermarché with a gasoline station. Visit Colmar and Ribeauvillé (3 castles walk).

The apartment is not only modern and newly renovated but also beautifully designed, blending tasteful contemporary style with carefully preserved details that honor the building's history—creating a truly unique and charming atmosphere. The hosts were simply amazing—exceptionally flexible, incredibly kind, and always attentive to our needs. Their generosity stood out, providing all the essentials such as coffee, washing detergent, and more, which made our stay even more comfortable and hassle-free. As frequent travelers, we were especially impressed by the immaculate cleanliness of the apartment. This was the first time we arrived at an accommodation where we felt no need to clean upon arrival—it was absolutely spotless! We would be delighted to return in the future.
