Reasonable walking distance to historic centre, sizeable and characterful building, with lovely view out from the breakfast room. Bright and airy common areas including small bar and day room (though not all air-conditoned). Helpful and friendly staff. Close to a popular square with lots of places to eat and drink, but the place itself is not noisy.

Such a charming place. Overlooking Coimbra - one of the most beautiful cities in Portugal. A delicious breakfast and very welcoming hosts.

The whole place was immaculate. The extensive included breakfast was one of the best we've ever had in a hotel.

Breakfast was really good, hotel was very nice, very comfortable, and it was great having a studio with more space, kitchenette etc. The location was really good, pretty close to university, gardens, and shops, restaurants
