This was one of the most surprising stays of my trip in Germany - I had such an amazing stay here! Beautiful views of the Mosel, a tranquil part of town yet extremely well-located and walkable, via both the back and front route. I am so particular about cleanliness and was so impressed that the place was absolutely spotless! The design of the room is so thoughtful - and you can definitely tell it was furnished with love, care, and much thought, and definitely by a person who takes pride in their own home. The owners live in the property themselves and were extremely friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my little chat with them. They shared such a wonderful hike route recommendation that I thoroughly enjoyed. In the room they also give good recommendations for restaurants so you won’t be ripped off and will find good eats in the place. They have artefacts from the original build, and display them in the hotel with great pride and taste. Safe to say, this stay made my trip to Cochem great. Nothing better than a surprise when the actual stay was way better than the photos and much more than what you expected based on the price.

The location is magnificent and we had a beautiful view! Very easy to get to from the train station and the owner even drove us to the train station when the rain was really bad and we needed to leave. The room is comfortable, has a fridge but can get extremely hot with no way to cool the room down
