Disruption will be kept to a minimum.Please note, for rates including dinner, a GBP 35 dinner allowance per person is offered.The property has a limited number of dog-friendly rooms available, which are offered on a first come, first served basis and are subject to extra fees. Please inform us at the time of booking if you will be staying with a dog. We will confirm the availability of a dog friendly room within 24 hrs of the booking being made. If no dog friendly rooms are available, we will refund your booking. A maximum of 2 dogs per room can be accommodated.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Loved the location and and how easy it was to find it. The weather was great so took advantage of eating outside both for dinner and breakfast which were both very good and tasty. Menu options were good. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient. The room was excellent with a comfy bed, air conditioning. Love having robes & slippers provided and water made available - always love slippers especially as I'd forgotten to take ours.

The staff made this stay so special for myself and my wife. All of them were incredibly attentive, friendly and helpful from start to finish. A massive thankyou in particular to Shaldon who really went the extra mile.... what a great host!! The hotel itself is stunning. Very very clean and well maintained throughout, with plenty of history and character. A nice setting to spend a rare night away without our two young children. Food and drinks were good. Rooms were not the largest but cosy and clean with everything in them that we needed and a very comfortable bed. But in all honesty, the staff are the real stars here! We would definately visit again for our wedding anniversary next year.
