We were in the main chateau building in very large apartment, with a kitchen and full size fridge, which we wanted. The property is very tastefully decorated and sits in beautiful vineyard within picturesque village. There is plenty of parking and room to walk your dog. Hotel has large garden with a swimming pool surrounded by the vines, it is super relaxing. Highlight was the dinner, we recommend the tasting menu with their own wine, it was such a pleasant evening, along with the other travellers. Highly recommend for those driving to the south. We will come again.

There simply are not enough words to convey how nice a stay here is! Located in the small wine village of Clessé and surrounded by its own vineyards ( which you can take a walk in ) the setting is picture post card perfect . The rooms are modern and stylish with very comfortable extra large double beds , so e have a second double on a mezzanine level and each room has a balcony and seating area to enjoy the views . The swimming pool and gardens are also lovely with plenty of shaded seating in gardens where you can have drinks and snacks , and a gateway leads out into the vines , The pool is lovely , plenty of sun beds or shaded beds and the pool house has to be the most beautiful I have seen in a traditional stone building . The highlight for us was the evening meal in the restaurant . Served out on the terrace area , immaculate whit linens and place setting , a fabulous menu ( I’d recommend the Burgundy Gourmet menu to get a real Flavour of local Specialities ) although the 4 courses actually turned out to be 6 with little extras like Amuse Bouche and Petit Fours . Each dish was beautifully cooked and presented by their chef , a work of art and there was a very helpful wine waiter who guided us through the best choices for the dishes selected from an extensive wine cellar . In short this was a dream of a stay that will be long in the memory and worth every penny !

Beautiful comfortable hotel exceptional breakfast!!!! Fantastic staff..Wonderful Chardonnay produced by Chateau de Besseuil. Sparkling pool in a tranquil garden with birdlife. Lovely countryside Thank you!!!
