The location is easy to find and the staff is very friendly. It is perfect for a one night stay at Jiu Fen as it is just beside the old street.

I stayed for 2 nights, and it was a great base to visit Jiufen and surrounding hikes (Tea pot mountain, etc.). If you're considering staying over in Jiufen, do it! There is a small window of time when the day tourists leave and the shops start closing where it's much quieter, and I really enjoyed that. The hotel's location is great, right next to the main street and not far from the bus stops. The view from the 4th floor is very nice, I guess you could also use that space to work. There are also some fridges available on the floors, which was a great touch. Overall it was a really pleasant stay and the staff was very nice and available throughout.

The window view is great. The staff at the reception area are also friendly and helpful. It is within 5 minutes to the Jiufen old street.
