We booked a King Double room, as it was the only one available for our date. The room actually had a mezzanine floor with the bed upstairs, and a very comfortable living space with sofa, chairs and table underneath. We were not expecting that, and it was a real bonus for us. Watched some of Wimbledon from the comfort of a sofa, and also it was probably the hottest day of the year so we appreciated being able to leave our windows open all night upstairs, which we wouldn't have done on the ground floor. Would definitely ask for this room again on a future visit! Many thanks

Receptionist was lovely and friendly. Rooms immaculate but no air conditioning which was a shame as it was quite warm. Breakfast was lovely as were the staff there. Such a shame no restaurant anymore for evening/lunch.

Initially, the location, the room was clean, without any rough edge's, airy, and spacious. Bathroom was also very clean with a bath mat as standard, the last place I stayed at the bath mat was on request. Friends of mine who stayed as well, in a different room had no complaints. The only criticism was the tv remote was a bit dubious, could have done with a clean. Would book again

Good shower and plenty of room in the bathroom for toiletries etc. Breakfast was okay good selection of cereal and fruit but I’m not a fan of hot food under hot lamps as it dries up and all the fried eggs were hard yolks, but you could have as much as you wanted .
