We had a great stay at the Gold City Motel in Charters Towers. It’s an old-style motel, but it had everything we needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and very affordable. We really appreciated the warm country hospitality—felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. Being able to park right outside our room was super convenient, and we enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the evening. A great spot for a simple, comfortable stay.

The welcome received when I arrived was wonderful. Really made to feel that my family and I were welcome. Room was very clean, well-presented and the beds super comfortable. Had a great night's sleep.
