We enjoyed our stay at villa, Lithos immensely. Evi the host was very helpful and quick to answer our queries. The arrival process is very easy and there were lovely treats awaiting us including wine, homecooked savoury dishes and fresh fruit which was a lovely touch . The villa is very high up a winding road and we would definitely recommend arriving in daylight. The parking is a little tricky, it was quite narrow for our car. The location is really stunning and the outside area is fantastic with lots of seating and loungers. This is where we spent the vast majority of our time...it was absolute bliss. The pool was gorgeous (the steps down are slippy so be careful entering) . The view is simply breath taking. Inside we found as a family of 4 with 2 adult children it was very traditional in style, spacious, clean and fairly well presented. The kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfy. The upstairs bathroom isnt great - it's very small and dated. There's an additional toilet downstairs which is useful. Generally upstairs there weren't enough sockets to get ready with hairdryers etc. However they are minor points, we really did thoroughly enjoy our week using this villa to explore a really stunning area. We enjoyed an early morning coffee and an evening meal in the tavernas about 1km walk away We recommend Chania old town and the local Kiana beach - a 10 minute drive away.
