We LOVED our stay at the Amphitrite Hotel. We splurged for the Harbor View room and are so glad we did. We spent many evenings enjoying the sunset and playing cards on the balcony. The staff was SO friendly and helpful and made some wonderful "off the beaten path" restaurant recommendations. The room wasn't huge but it had everything we needed. The owners accommodated a few requests of things that weren't in the room (like dishes) so we could have breakfast and make our own pour over coffee in the room. We absolutely recommend this hotel as a stand out in a city with many choices and hope we can return soon!

As soon as we arrived at the property the hostess welcomed as very politely. They were very helpful about tips of the area and every request that we had they were happily to help us. The property was very clean and even though our room had view at the old town we also had the opportunity to watch the sunset and the light house from a small private balcony on the aisle. We definitely recommend it cause of the close range of the old town of Chania and because it’s a very amazing experience guiding by the friendly people of the property!

In 50+ years of travelling I have never encountered such kind and helpful staff - from parking our car for us, providing water, beach towels, nibbles, room upgrade for last night. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Manos, Gina and Valeria

Very nice hotel right on the harbour with a great view - yet quiet. Super friendly staff who gave lots of really good recommendations. Highly recommended.
