Kitchen to cook my meals, probably the only hostel in the whole Cebu that allows this

The manager Brian, and his family was very friendly and pleasant to deal with...tbey tried tbeir best to help with local travel/jitney usage and offered helpful ideas about things to do and see...however I am not sure they were up to running/managing a hostel/guest inn.
