The property was well located close to shopping area and airport. The room was large and very comfortable with a beautiful bathroom. Our proprietor was very helpful in organising an Uber for us to take us to airport at 5am.

I had a wonderful stay at Umberto 134 and would absolutely return. The location is perfect — central yet calm, making it easy to explore Catania while still having a peaceful place to come back to. The room was fresh, beautifully clean, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming and restful. The building itself is stunning — full of character, with that classic Sicilian charm and elegance. The staff were kind, attentive, and helpful, and even when I accidentally left something behind, they reached out immediately and kept it safe for me. That kind of care made a big difference. Overall, everything felt smooth, grounded, and easy. If you’re visiting Catania and want a lovely, well-located, and well-run place to stay, I highly recommend Umberto 134. A gem.
