The accommodation far exceeded our expectations. We were a group of five women and the accommodation was just perfect. The highlight is of course the whirlpool. Alessandro and his wife are also really warm hosts. No wish was refused and we received great tips for activities. Thank you for the great time in your accommodation!

Allesandro and Suzanna were incredibly helpful picking us from the station and identifying all local amenities as we travelled to their property, they also arranged a Taxi back to the airport. Property was very clean and very comfortable, the garden was exceptional with a welcome addition of the hot tub, especially after a busy day on excursions. The owners were always on hand when needed but never imposing. When our suitcase wheel malfunctioned, they were quick to assist with tools to make a repair. Would highly recommend having a trip to Etna with Alessandro ‘s friend (a geologist of the same name) who made the day extremely enjoyable and informative, finishing with Wine tasting at Casa Gambino. A visit to the beach is approx. ½ hour by public transport (maybe quicker by car/taxi) but the proximity to the Metro makes public transport a viable option. (Bus Librino Express L-EX from Bus station change at Borsellino to the dedicated ‘D’ to various Lidos) Catania is a great city with excellent restaurants and interesting places to visit easily accessible by Metro

Our recent 5-day stay at Il Pozzo e l'Ulivo in Catania, Sicily, was a true paradise. From the gracious host to the immaculate house, and the stunning garden with a jacuzzi, every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The host's hospitality was outstanding. He offered invaluable tips and suggestions that enriched our experience in Catania. The house was not just clean and spacious but also exuded an undeniable sense of serenity. We were so comfortable that we decided to spend an entire day enjoying the barbecue and the jacuzzi in the peaceful garden. Whether you seek a romantic getaway or a group retreat, this property offers comfort, tranquillity, and convenience in abundance. We can't wait to return and relive the wonderful moments we enjoyed at this remarkable place. Grazie mille, Il Pozzo e l'Ulivo!
