+train station, bus station, city center nearby +very nice, flexible host +very well equipped apartment (iron, 3 towels/person, cleaning products, cosmetics, etc.) +excellent air conditioning +spacious closets, lots of storage space +comfortable beds, pillows +laundry room

I'll start by saying that the owner, Malena, is an extremely kind and helpful person. She gave us tips on how to get around, where to go, what is worth seeing, and where these places are located. The apartment itself is very nice, with a sea view, and it's equipped with all the necessary amenities — one could even say more than necessary. It is situated within a reasonable distance from all key places (market, bus and train stations, shops, and well-rated restaurants), about a 10-minute walk. We can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the eastern part of Sicily on their own.

Perfect place to stay in Catania. Great area, beautiful flat and very nice owner taking good care of us and even letting us stay on the last day until evening!
