First of all, Santo was an amazing host – super polite and helpful. He waited for us even though we arrived really late at night, which was so kind. You can ask him anything about the city or the island, and he’ll explain everything clearly and give great tips. The hotel is in a beautifully renovated old building with a lovely entrance hall. The location is great – only about 15 minutes walking to the center. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe, even late in the evening. Our room and bathroom were both really spacious, which made the stay very comfortable.

The appartments look interesting, as if you found 'SJ' in a castle. Lots of paintings, antique furniture. A clean, clear, delicious smell! Santo, the master of appartments, an 'emotional' man in love with his city, man, gave us all the information we needed, offered any help! Despite the fact that a huge historic building is being renovated next door, we were not uncomfortable.

The room and bathroom were spacious. It was an interesting historical building. Santos was extremely helpful and informative. He also has an ingenious device for winching luggage up to the flat.

We stayed here for 4 days. Our planet was late and also delayed. I asked the owner of we could check-in around 22.30-23.00 and he accepted it. This is a beautiful historical buildings. An old museum. A wonderful owner who told us about the historical places nearby and tourist attractions. Free coffee and croissant for breakfast. If you want to go on day trips he can drive around the whole Sicily and show you tourist attractions. We already planned a rental car so we didn't ask him for the tours around Sicily. If you have problems with walking the stairs because of pain and such. Maybe this Is not the place for you. Otherwise we loved this place! Beautiful and your own toilet and a small refrigerator.
