If you are looking for a place to stay in Cat Ba, this is the one to go for. It is so beautiful and peaceful. It was a nice place to rest and be close to nature. The hotel is definitely the best of the area, it is so so pretty. The staff was very helpful.

This is a proper family-run homestay - everyone gets involved in the running of the place and that's really nice. The location is remote, but the surroundings are beautiful, as are grounds of the accommodation itself. Chilly organised our transport from the airport to the homestay and it all went very smoothly. Sure it may have been slightly more expensive than if we had sorted everything out ourselves, but we were very grateful to not have to worry about anything and more than happy to pay. The room was basic, but clean and good value for money. The meals were prepared fresh and the honesty bar was a great thing to have access to. We booked a day boat trip via the homestay, which I'm sure you could get cheaper if you booked directly through the tour operator, but again they organised our transfers to and from the harbour and we had a really good time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as a place to base yourself from to explore Cat Ba Island.
