It felt like a haven from the rest of Cat Ba which unfortunately was just a construction site when we were there. It is in a lovely position up on a hill and the food is lovely so you don’t need to leave. We hired a moped and went to a beach and through the National Park but were delighted to return to Green Homestay which really is a little oasis. They really couldn’t do enough to be kind and look after us. The pool was lovely too.

Green homstay is located in a quiet and nature surrounded place with 10min walk to a small beach with restaurants, it's the perfect place to relax. The staff was nice and welcoming. The swimming pool was a hit for kid with the warm temperatures.

Overall, it was very pleasant. Houng and his family made us feel very welcome and were happy to help with anything, taxis, tours, etc.
